Thank you for your very kind (and melodic!) birthday wishes
today, and for the manageable pile of 16 notebooks to take to Palm
Springs, where the book club ladies and I shall convene for our annual end-of-summer
getaway. I’ll steal some time from
napping and paddling around in the pool (discussing War and Peace, of course) to
sit somewhere cool and read through your work. In alphabetical order, these are the notebooks I
have: Austin, Bryant, Chikum,
Chikum, Coleman, Dayan, Duy, Farquhar, Fisher, Lasao, Miller, Rajan, Reece, Wu,
Yap and Yoder. I expect to find some exemplars!
By the way, if anyone bumps into Giovanni Lasao -- I sent
him an email a couple of days ago and I haven’t heard from him. He may have created a Google account
for the blog that he doesn’t check regularly, so if you see him, will you just mention that I
do want a response to that email? Thanks.
I'm offline now until Sunday afternoon, -- if you comment to this post, I'll get it via email but I won't answer until Sunday... Have a happy weekend, and good luck finishing up the work. It can be done! The end is in sight! Don't let fear and loathing keep you from writing!
Finally, to the
musically gifted AP Bio guys: I have a Cliff’s study guide
for AP Bio for sale in my classroom.
Proceeds benefit Mayfair Reads.
Anyone is welcome to make me an offer; and I’ll give you an unbelievable deal.

Your welcome
