Fletcher Update

Sixty-one students successfully (more or less) completed enough of the blog requirements to be in the class.  I've updated the posts on the spreadsheet, but I did not update the comments because, frankly, that is tedious work.  Everyone still on the list completed all or most of the comment requirements, and I have them penciled in on an earlier draft of that spreadsheet.  I don't feel like typing all those dates into the little boxes.

I deleted those students from the blog who did not post.  If the blog is still active to you and you can click that button that says NEW POST, you are counted among that initial group of 61.

Next, I await your notebooks.  I will receive notebooks from people who did not blog; there will be bloggers who do not turn in notebooks.  The  people in the first group are considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the quality of their work.  Their grade will be impacted significantly, but honestly, talented people who hit the deadlines can recover to a solid B by the end of the first semester.  I do not retain anyone who does not turn in a completed notebook.

So I am comfortable saying that we will have two sections of AP English, with between 55 and 65 students split between the two sections.
