Technologic Puberty
Will we ever outgrow our addiction to technology? We're all at an age that we can look back and see how significantly we've changed over the last 4 years. We're completely different than we were as incoming 7th graders. My question is, how is technology going to be when our children are going through high school? Are we going to move past this stage where everybody is constantly depending on the internet for information and entertainment? I know I sure am. Reading these books helped me realize how much technology is taking over, and it shouldn't be too hard to fix it. Cutting back on internet use is not a difficult thing to do. I'm worried about a few others, though. Some people from our generation are already hooked on the lure for technology, and they'll remain that way for the remainder of their life. Do you think you'll grow out of these bad habits, or is it too late for you to get out of the clenched jaws of the internet?

I agree, I think if I really set my mind to it I could live with less technology. I would never want my children to be on the computer as much as me because it's addictive and there are a lot more better things to do. I really do see some of my friends hooked to the computer more than me and I don't like it. Hopefully in the future we won't have to rely on the internet for technology and entertainment so much.
