Danger! Destroyprivacy.exe is everywhere!

I was recently the proud victim of a virus. I looked up the name of the virus and I learned that my life would be ruined if I left the virus alone. It could steal any record, password, and information. This incident made me realize that our society has already lost its privacy. This post itself could have a virus inside of it, ready to take over all of your information.
In chapter 6 of the Brave New World, Lenina says that there is nothing that a person could do in private except sleep. In our society we have already reached this point. Anything that we post online can be scrutinized by the millions of people in the world. By posting something online, you are allowing strangers to know more about your private life. I am doing this right now. I am relating my private thoughts to anybody who looks at this site. There is talk of managers looking up a person's Facebook in order to peer into the candidate's true personality.
This lost of privacy is not restricted to only the internet. The army has begun to construct cameras as small as butterflies and bees. That harmless insect outside your window could really be a floating camera bent on revealing your privacy to the world. We are under constant surveillance whether it be driving, shopping, or walking. An example is when I found my house on Google maps. At first it was interesting, but then it became creepy because this meant that anybody has the power to find the exact house one lives in without leaving his or her home. This problem will only grow worse and worse. This is because of all of the security breaches such as 9-11 and the theatre shootings. It is insanely difficult to get anything through the airport anymore. These problems might make it so that we must wear a tracking chip.
Now I ask you, is there ever a moment outside of your home where you feel that people aren't watching? Will this lack of privacy continue to grow and grow? Do you believe that people are willing to give up privacy in order to live a safe life?
