Sad New World

e now live in the twenty-first century where sadly technology controls our lives.  Instead of having time to watch television we force ourselves to take shortcuts with our homework and chores in order to make time to watch television. All our efforts to watch television are pointless since they are noneducational and are for pure entertainment only. If television is not enough we have a thing called a computer. You simply turn it on and can talk to others, watch the one clip everyone is talking about, play online games, and socialize with others who you normally will not talk to. How have we lost self control and let technology drastically alter our lives?
