Life without internet...?
After I read The Shallows by
Nicholas Carr I came to a realization about the internet. Throughout the whole
book it hit me that the internet has changed everything! We use it to do
research, entertain ourselves, heck just because were bored we go on the
internet, but how would you see the world without internet? Would it be the
same? To me yes internet is altering our world, yes it is causing our brains to
change, but I think the internet is helpful. Without the internet we wouldn’t be
able to do all the things we do, for example without the internet we wouldn’t be
able to do our “blogging”. A lot of people say the internet is bad, all it does it destroy us do you agree? Do you
think life would be easier or more stressful if internet didn’t exist? Can you even see or imagine the world without internet?
The internet is not all bad, it's not even mostly bad. The majority of the internet is helpful and resourceful. Life would be much more stressful without the internet. It would take kids longer to do homework, make it harder for people to get places, and many would be bored without it. I can't imagine the world without internet, but I'm guessing it was not as efficient as it is now.
ReplyDeleteThe internet can be useful. It can be entertaining. It also can be bad for you and bring aspects of your life down. It all depends on how you use it. Like you said, we use the internet for a lot of things. I don't think there has been a day this whole summer where I didn't log on to any of my accounts online. What I'm saying is the internet has taken up a big part of my life. I see it as a good thing for both its convenience and entertainment. Life without internet? I don't see it happening too easily for me. ~
